The MOZA HMA150 Motion System delivers an ultra realistic 3DOF motion experience for sim racing and flight simulation enthusiasts. Featuring four high performance haptic actuators, it provides 150mm of stroke, up to 300mm per second speed, and peak acceleration exceeding 1G for precise pitch, roll, and heave movements. Powered by MOZA Motion Manager and AI Motion technology, it transforms visual and telemetry data into high frequency vibrations up to 200Hz. Designed for heavy duty rigs with up to 350kg payload capacity, this robust system offers quiet operation and integrated safety features for ultimate simulation immersion.

Features

MOZA HMA150 Motion System Feature 1

MOZA HMA150 Haptic Motion System

The MOZA HMA150 Motion System uses four actuators and a 3DOF platform to recreate pitch, roll, and heave for racing and flight simulation. It provides up to 150 mm of stroke, 300 mm/s speed, more than 1G of acceleration, and vibration up to 200 Hz, with MOZA Motion Manager and AI Motion for customisable feedback and supported games without native telemetry.

Includes four HMA150 Haptic Motion Actuators and the components required to build a four-actuator motion system.

MOZA’s First Flagship Motion Platform

MOZA is the first manufacturer in the industry to achieve fully in-house development and production of racing simulators, flight simulators, and motion platforms. Following the introduction of its active pedals and flagship direct-drive wheelbase, this motion platform represents another flagship product and marks a significant milestone in the completion of MOZA’s integrated sim racing and flight simulation ecosystem.

MOZA HMA150 Motion System Feature 2

MOZA Full-Stack In-House Development

  • A self-developed high–torque-density servo motor featuring near-zero cogging torque, enabling rapid transient response and highly responsive reproduction of dynamic details while ensuring smooth and continuous motion output.
  • Proprietary control algorithms optimised to reproduce realistic in-game dynamic effects with high fidelity.
  • Independently developed control software that eliminates the need for complex third-party adaptation, offering open parameter adjustment and extensive user customisation capabilities.
  • Integration of the servo motor with high-precision ball screw technology to achieve high-speed response and precise motion control, ensuring superior dynamic performance of the motion platform.

Professional Hardcore Design

  • The actuator features a sharply contoured yet harmoniously balanced design, inspired by the angular and aerodynamic styling of supercars. The overall form factor is cohesive and streamlined, with integrated mounting sliders that allow adjustable installation height.
  • A minimalist colour scheme reinforces a premium aesthetic, featuring a matte black metallic finish complemented by gold accent rings and logo detailing to enhance perceived quality.
  • An integrated axis controller architecture replaces conventional 220 V industrial drive units and external servo controllers. The compact main control unit, combined with side-mounted axis control integration, simplifies system architecture and reduces overall spatial footprint.
  • The actuator is equipped with RGB ambient lighting that supports customisable colour configurations and real-time telemetry integration, providing visual indicators for system states such as ABS activation, traction control (TC), and flag signals.

48 V Low-Voltage Power Input

The system operates on a 48 V DC high-performance servo motor, making it well suited for residential environments. This low-voltage architecture ensures enhanced operational safety, reliability, quiet performance, and high energy efficiency.

4-Axis, 3-DOF Motion Platform

The standard configuration supports a four-axis, three-degree-of-freedom (3DOF) motion platform, delivering dynamic motion in pitch, roll, and heave. The system architecture is designed with scalability in mind, enabling future upgrades to 6–7 axes and supporting the realisation of a full 6DOF motion cockpit.

8ms Ultra-Low Latency

The motion actuator system achieves a response time of 8ms (current specification, subject to future updates). This ultra-low latency significantly enhances motion fidelity and immersive physical feedback through rapid transient response.

Industry-Leading Dynamic Performance

With a maximum stroke of 150 mm, peak speed of 300 mm/s, and maximum acceleration exceeding 1 g, the platform delivers performance directly comparable to flagship products on the market. It accurately reproduces a wide range of in-game motion effects, from suspension compression during rally jump landings to sustained curb-induced vibrations experienced in high-speed circuit racing.

High-Frequency Vibration Performance

Supporting vibration frequencies up to 150 Hz—exceeding the prevailing 100 Hz standard among leading competitors—the system provides high-fidelity tactile feedback. This enables both pronounced engine vibration effects correlated with engine speed and the precise perception of subtle surface irregularities, such as expansion joints on competitive tracks.

21-Bit High-Resolution Magnetic Encoder

The system integrates a 21-bit magnetic encoder (approximately 2.09 million counts per revolution), enabling precise resolution of force feedback signals and ultra-accurate motion control. This significantly enhances the fidelity of G-force feedback and closely approximates real-world driving sensations.

600 MHz High-Performance Processor

A 600 MHz high-performance processor is employed to support optimised data processing through advanced control algorithms. The system performs real-time dynamic data processing with low-latency command execution, ensuring accurate motion control and responsive force feedback.

High-Strength Aluminium Alloy Construction

The primary structure of the motion actuator is fabricated from high-strength aluminium alloy, achieving a balance between lightweight design and structural rigidity to ensure overall durability and mechanical integrity.

Motion Control Software

The newly developed MOZA Motion Manager serves as a professional simulation control centre, offering comprehensive parameter configuration and user-defined customisation. The interface supports adjustment of motion amplitude, intensity, individual degree-of-freedom dynamics, and vibrotactile feedback characteristics.

Game Compatibility

The platform currently supports mainstream racing simulation titles, with planned future compatibility for flight simulation software.
