High-End Headphone Diaphragm Materials
As a dome diaphragm material, Al-Mg alloy exhibits high rigidity and light weight, thereby extending the treble bandwidth and revealing more subtle details. The diaphragm suspension is composed of two polymer materials with differing characteristics, resulting in a punchier bass and greatly reduced nonlinear distortion.
Hitherto, use of this Al-Mg alloy material was limited to a few high-end in-ear headphones and full-size headphones. It was considered a relatively costly diaphragm material, and the "CHU II" is the first budget IEM to make use of it.
Alloy Casting Cavity
Ensuring Durability and High-Quality Texture
The acoustic cavity of the "CHU II" is manufactured using MOONDROP's mature alloy casting technology, ensuring both rigidity and fine texture. A durable paint layer protects the metal shell from corrosion.
Brass CNC Acoustic Nozzle
The nozzle of the "CHU II" consists of a separate brass CNC component, offering higher precision and density, and resulting in beautiful timbre.
Replaceable Acoustic Nozzle
"CHU II" incorporates a new generation of replaceable acoustic filters. The front end of the brass nozzle is detachable, allowing users to replace the acoustic filter quickly and conveniently. Replacement is far easier compared with existing multi-layer filters, and the design makes for greater reliability. In the event of blockage or damage, the cost is much lower than that of standard nozzles.

"CHU II" was tuned by senior acoustic engineers and audiophiles with rich knowledge and wide experience, and exhibits an excellent frequency response curve in line with the VDSF Target Response. The aluminium-magnesium alloy dome diaphragm delivers a natural refined sound, rich timbre and imaging, and an ultra-wide response frequency band.
*MOONDROP VDSF Target Response is a target frequency response curve based on the HRTF (head-related transfer function) of B&K HATS under diffusion and the ideal room preference curve. The closer the frequency response curve measured under B&K HATS is to the target frequency response curve, the more the earphones can reproduce soundstage imaging in terms of frequency response.

Tips for Headphone Cable Installation
In order to avoid poor connection or instability during use, the cable is tightly connected with earphone socket. When plug or unplug the cable, please hold the cable terminal and parallel to 0.78 2pin. Do not rudely install the cable to prevent the headphone or cable from damage.
