8 PoE+ Ports for Network Deployment
Each of the 8 PoE+ ports supports a maximum power supply of 30 W. The total 110 W PoE power budget (PoE budget calculations are based on laboratory testing. Actual PoE power budget is not guaranteed and will vary as a result of client limitations and environmental factors) can be applied in various scenarios, including surveillance, offices, dormitories, and small businesses, since MS112GMP is compatible with devices such as IP cameras, access points, IP phones, PCs, video recorders, and etc.
Power over Ethernet: Two Cables in One
PoE ports offer several advantages: They simplify installation without needing electricians, reduce costs by eliminating extra cables and adaptors, provide greater flexibility for deployment in various situations, and improve power usage efficiency and protect devices from power surges.
Long-Range up to 250 m with Extend Mode
Extend Mode (The speed of the ports in extend mode will downgrade to 10 Mbps. The actual transmission distance may vary due to power consumption of PoE-powered devices or the cable quality and type) increases PoE transmission distance to 250 m. MS112GMP has four long-range ports with PoE+. Turn on the Extend Mode and make it ideal for installing surveillance cameras over wide areas.
Traffic Separation
Isolation Mode easily divides traffic for ports 1-4 & 5-8 to avoid snooping/tampering and isolates broadcast storm for higher security.
Port Prioritisation
Prioritising the data of specific ports would ensure the high quality of delicate applications, such as voice and video, in crucial business domains.
PoE Auto Recovery
The switch continuously detects data transmission with PoE-powered devices (PD). When a PD stops sending data packets to the switch for an extended length of time, the switch will reboot it automatically.
Plug and Play
MS112GMP offers auto-negotiation and automated MDI/MDIX. There is no additional configuration needed. It is simple to use and saves time and effort.
