Ubiquiti G3 Compact Third-generation Access Reader

The UniFi G3 Reader is a compact, IP55-rated access control device measuring 93 x 40 x 36.5 mm and weighing 82 grams. It offers versatile authentication methods, including NFC card and keyfob access, mobile unlock via the UniFi Identity mobile app, and Touch Pass. The device also supports hand-wave request-to-exit functionality. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 45°C with humidity levels between 5% and 90% non-condensing. Connectivity is ensured through a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, BLE 4.1, and NFC technologies. The G3 Reader is powered via PoE, consuming a maximum of 5W at 48V DC. Its durable construction features a polycarbonate and glass enclosure with an aluminum alloy mount, suitable for in-wall or gang box installations. Additional features include a proximity sensor, speaker, RGBW LED indicators, and a factory-reset button. The device operates on a 13.56 MHz NFC frequency with a read range of less than 30 mm, supporting various NFC technologies such as ISO/IEC 14443A/B, 15693, 18092, MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFIRE, and Sony FeliCa.
