What is a Hotas?

Main stick is operated by one hand. The other hand makes periodic throttle adjustments or accesses base mounted buttons.
Hotas (Hands on Throttle and Stick)
Used predominantly in combat aircraft. During intense flight, due to the G-forces that pilots withstand, their hands stay on the stick and throttle controls therefore needing a lot more functions to be accessed without taking their hands off of the main controls.
