Manufactured from durable PVC with a 10mm internal diameter and 16mm outer diameter, the tubing is UV-reactive and resistant to UV Type C, beta and gamma radiation, helping minimise degradation and coolant discolouration over time. Its non-phthalate plasticiser provides high resistance to leaching, while the clear construction allows coolant colours and effects to remain highly visible. High resistance to leaching was one of the paramount focuses while making this tubing. EK-Loop Soft Tube uses a non-Phthalate plasticiser. It is resistant to degradation and discolouration from Beta, UV, and Gamma rays. All components used in manufacture are US FDA sanctioned for food applications and meet USP Class VI for use in the medical industry.

One of the main reasons for coloured coolant breakdown is the exposure to sun rays through the tubing wall, EK-Loop Soft Tube effectively solves this with special ingredients that allow it to be highly UV-Type C resistant.
