Based on AMD 790FX chipset, the GA-MA790FXT-UD5P supports new generation of 45nm AMD Phenom II series processors, integrated DDR3 memory controller, HyperTransport™ 3.0 technology links and dual PCI Express 2.0 graphics interfaces (running at x16 and x16) for ATI CrossFireX support. Please note that this model is not compatible with AM2/AM2+ processors - it is only compatible with the new AM3 processors.
