Kolink Levante Mesh RGB Tempered Glass Case

The Kolink Levante Midi-Tower is aimed at PC enthusiasts who value high-quality air cooling. The first thing one notices is the stylish front panel that comes kitted out with a large mesh grid. This enables the three pre-installed 120 mm RGB-LED fans to transport cool air into the case with minimum resistance. This open design is also ideally suited for the use of a 240 mm radiator which can be installed there instead. Thanks to both side panels being made in tempered glass, users will enjoy an unhindered view of the case's interior along with their RGB-LED lighting and fans. A fan controller and a remote come included courtesy of Kolink. Altogether, these features help make the Kolink Levante, along with its attractive sloped sides on the roof and front, a very attractive-looking case indeed.

Styling and design

The robust chassis is made from one millimeter thick SECC steel and both side panels are made from four millimeter thick tempered glass. The most striking aspect of this case however must be its front section, almost the entire surface of which is dominated by a mesh grid and dust filter. Behind it lie three pre-installed 120 mm RGB-LED fans. Alternatively, two 140 mm fans can be installed instead. Two more 120 mm- or 140 mm fans may be mounted in the roof.

The whole interior is coated in black and comes equipped with a shroud for the PSU so as to maintain an extremely tidy look. The case comes with a non-removable hard drive cage with brackets for two 3,5" hard drives and which reserves plenty of space for your PSU. On the rear of the motherboard tray lie brackets for installing two further 2,5"- drives.

Airflow and performance

The three pre-installed 120 mm RGB fans in the front are accompanied by another as an exhaust in the back of the case. The fans each possess 16 individually addressable RGB-LEDs. Their lighting can be controlled via the bundled RGB controller which can be installed to a location of your choosing and the infrared remote for over 300 dynamic lighting effects! The motherboard tray and the PSU shroud offer multiple openings and cable passthroughs for improved cable management. A 240 mm radiator can be installed in the front and on the roof of the Observatory case. When using the roof however, certain restrictions should be taken into account beforehand - particularly in the case of larger than average motherboards or unusually tall RAM modules. The case also benefits from finely perforated dust filters that cover the air inlets and on the underside of the case. These can be removed without tools and are strengthened by the use of a honeycomb pattern. Plenty of Space for Hardware

GPUs up to 38 cm in length may be installed and CPU coolers up to 16 cm in height are also compatible. Moreover the I/O panel located on the front offers a USB 3.0 Type A port in addition to two standard USB 2.0 connectors. A panel is available for a USB Type C port, however this is not included with the case and must be purchased and fitted separately. The same holds true of a switch for controlling the RGB lighting on the I/O panel.
