EK-Loop VTX PWM Motor
EK-Loop VTX PWM Motor is a custom loop water pump with power management control (via PWM - pulse width modulation) of rotation speed through motherboard BIOS or a dedicated fan controller.
These VTX pumps, which are already featured in pump-reservoir combos, boast a DDC-compatible mount, remarkable head pressure, and efficient flow rates in a small footprint – making them ideal for smaller cases. The pumps can be used with all reservoirs and distribution plates compatible with DDC pumps, providing an alternative option.
Using an optional Convection heatsink is possible but not required. It should be mainly used for aesthetic benefits.
Despite a remarkably small footprint, it has up to 5,3m of head pressure. This is more than adequate for most loops, aside from those featuring 4+ GPUs and lots of QDCs. With the maximum flow rate of 1100L/h, it is sure to provide an ample flow of coolant inside the loop.
The VTX pump is water-lubricated and must not be run dry to prevent permanent bearing damage from occurring. It uses a 4-pin Molex for power and a 4-pin PWM fan header for control and readout.
Notes
- VTX pumps are wet tested before shipping. While they are dried out before packaging, it can occasionally happen that the pump is delivered still slightly wet.
- This product should NOT be installed with any aluminium Fluid Gaming parts!
- If no PWM signal is present, the VTX pump runs at 100% RPM.
- The VTX pump is water lubricated, and it must not be run dry; otherwise, permanent bearing damage can occur.
